Sandy Fagin was selected as a regional winner for Air Personality of the Year by Billboard Magazine’s International Radio Programming Forum in 1977 while working as a DJ at WBAB-FM in Babylon, NY. Sandy began his radio career in 1972 at WENT-AM in Gloversville, NY and he spent fourteen years on the air programming his own daily show. In addition to WBAB and WENT he also was on the air at WRNW-FM in Briarcliff Manor, NY and WDHA-FM in Dover, NJ. In 1983, Sandy was hired to promote an album that Glen Kolotkin produced, “Duke Jupiter” on Coast To Coast Records. Duke Jupiter’s “I’ll Drink To You” became a turntable hit, and the 38th most played rock ‘n roll song of 1983 according to Radio & Records. An eye-opening, and learning experience for both. Sandy took a hiatus from broadcasting and the music business in 1985 and became a successful commercial real estate broker in New York City. For over twenty years he helped companies with the acquisition and disposition of office and retail space in Manhattan, and he assisted landlords by marketing their properties. In 1998 Sandy created and hosted a radio talk show Real Estate Insider, which aired on WEVD 1050-AM in New York, and then in 2006 an updated version aired on WOR 710-AM in New York. In 2007, Sandy and Glen, who have been good friends since 1978, formed Cool Music Company along with Tom Harney. Their first release was “Southern Thang” by Tom Jackson. This year, with the addition of Galo Rivera, the four created M4AO.

Tom Harney has been active in the music industry for over 35 years. He is a guitar player and a composer, as well as an engineer and producer. He has owned several recording studios over the years and currently operates GDR studios in Fort Lauderdale, which is where M4AO music is produced. One area that he has been focused on is the expanding south Florida Latin music scene, including work with the group Ka-cha, which was produced by Glen Kolotkin. Among the south Florida area musicians that Tom has worked with are Pepe Alva, Raul Sandoval, Juan F. Pipo, Carolyn Saenz and Rey-Nerio. Tom produced Brazilian jazz pianist Age Garcia’s “Alabastro” CD. Tom has also been heavily involved with music publishing, as President of Golden Dome Music Publishing.

Galo Rivera is as artistically genuine and unique as music gets. Finding a consuming joy in his instruments (Guitar), he plays with a passion and zeal that is obvious to any listener, while at the same time, delivering welcomed refreshment for the seasoned musician. Galo is one of the most respected Latin Rock guitar players known around the world. His music influences have been: Los Indios Tabajara, Santana, John McLaughlin, Malo, Mandrill, Ohio Players, Graham Central Station, Earth Wind and Fire, Larry Carlton, Chic Corea, Al DiMeola, and Jimi Hendrix. After coming to the U.S. mainland from Puerto Rico on July 4th 1967, Galo found early renown touring Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, South and Central America, with various bands and on his own. By the age of 21 he was playing in venues like Madison Square Garden and Lincoln Center in New York City. Throughout his teenage years Galo continued to hone his skills as musician, recording engineer and a record producer. Galo has also shared the stage (co-billing) with greats like Blood Sweat and Tears, Tito Nieves, Roberto Torres, Warren Hill, Plena Libre, Huey Dunbar, Willy Chirino, and many others. Recently Galo has traveled the world and performed in concert, doing a powerful, unique Tribute to Santana. His guitar tone, energy and expression have a similar soulfulness and heart penetrating lead as Santana brings to the stage. (Galo says “no cookie cutters here”) Longtime Santana engineer, Glen Kolotkin (winner of a Grammy in 2000 for the production of Santana’s Supernatural CD) says of Galo: “He’s in the same league as other great guitarists I have recorded like Jimi Hendrix and Carlos Santana. Galo is crafting new music for M4AO, working on Latin, Funk, Rock, Blues and Smooth Jazz CDs.
